Teaching children how to properly greet a dog and providing them with the tools to understand their body language keeps everyone safe and happy.  This group of cub scouts got the message and now feel confident in their ability to assess different situations and act accordingly with dogs.  Did you know if a dog is chasing you and you want them to stop you should “be a tree” –  stand still and silent, arms crossed, looking away.
